CPA's Slate Card & Voter Guide for the November 2010 Election

"Remember to Vote Tuesday, November 2!"

Our state and local budgets have faced record deficits the past couple of years. Programs and services for seniors, youth, immigrants and working families are always the first to be cut. At this same time, many larger corporations and landlords have made record profits during this economic crisis.

This November, our communities have united to provide proactive solutions for the voters that protect the most vulnerable. Proposition J and Proposition N are progressive revenue measures that slightly increase taxes on the wealthy, such as the hotel industry and downtown landlords, and would bring over $70 million to prevent future cuts to vital services. CPA has contacted thousands of San Francisco voters to vote YES on J and YES on N with San Francisco Rising, a new alliance of 9 grassroots organizations, check us out on www.sfrising.org!

Below is CPA's voter guide for the November 2010 election. For a just society,
we must put poor, working class and immigrant communities first. Please take this with you to the polls as you vote on November 2nd, Election Day.

Thank you.
